A Brief History

"The first business incubator was started in 1952 in Batavia, NY. After nearly 50 years incubation would become more than just a way to resuscitate industrial buildings or generate jobs in towns stripped of their companies. Business incubation has grown into a primary strategy for accelerating the growth of young companies and significantly improving their chances of success. Today, leaders in the field are going way beyond simple 'feel-good' deliverables of low-cost space, access to office services, and occasional business assistance."
