Pyrodyne, Inc. is a small research
and development company incorporated in the State of Maryland in 1977.
It has offices in Glenwood, Maryland, Dayton, Ohio, Gainesville, Florida
and Oro Valley, Arizona. From its inception until 1996, its principal
business was consulting and presentation of lecture series in hypersonic
propulsion. In 1996, the founder and President, Frederick S. Billig retired
from the Johns Hopkins University, Applied Physics Laboratory to actively
manage Pyrodyne.
Since 1996, Pyrodyne has been awarded numerous contracts from the Air
Force and major government contractors, involving the design and
development of scramjet engines. In 2003, Dr. Lance S. Jacobsen, a
former researcher at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, joined Dr. Billig
as Technical Vice President of Pyrodyne. Dr. Jacobsen subsequently
opened the Dayton Office, at the Entrepreneur’s Center, in March
2005.
As the company has continued to expand, Linda Baumler, Andrew Dwenger,
Robert Kielb, Jeffery White, and several part-time employees have also
joined Pyrodyne. Mr. Kielb, a former researcher at Pratt and Whitney,
established the Florida office in 2004. Mr. White became Pyrodyne’s
Vice President of Numerical Modeling and Simulation in July 2005 and maintains
an office in Arizona. Pyrodyne’s combined expertise makes us an
authority in advanced high-speed propulsion systems, including scramjet
engines and aerodynamics.

Rutherford Graphic Products manufacturers and markets electronic products for retrofit to offset printing presses for the purpose of reducing paper waste and improving productivity. We are presently marketing a color-presetting system and semi-automatic color-control system. The color-preset system enables printers to automatically preset color before job startup, thus reducing waste. While this is not a new idea, our market niche consist of being able to retrofit our system to most makes of presses, providing a "one-size-fits-all" solution. The semi-automatic color control system computes color-quality adjustments "on the fly" and enables operators to make such adjustments with a one-touch command.
